Terms of Use
Last updated: November 2, 2026
By installing and using PostureUp you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app.
License
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use PostureUp on devices you own or control, under Apple's standard EULA for App Store apps. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, redistribute or resell the app. If these terms conflict with Apple's standard EULA, the EULA applies.
Subscriptions
PostureUp requires an active subscription. Annual and monthly plans are available through the App Store, at the prices shown in the app:
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase or, with a free trial, when the trial ends.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. They renew at the price shown, unless you're told of a change first.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in iOS Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions, or from Manage Subscription in the app's Settings.
- The annual plan currently includes a 3-day free trial for Apple Accounts that haven't already had a trial. It converts to a paid annual subscription at the displayed price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
- There are no refunds for the unused portion of a billing period. Refund requests go through Apple under its standard policy.
What the app needs
PostureUp works with AirPods and Beats headphones that support head tracking. Not all models do, and the app lists which ones work. Tracking runs in the background while your AirPods are in and tracking is on. To do that, the app keeps an audio session running in the background, including while your AirPods are out, which uses battery on your iPhone and headphones. Background tracking depends on iOS allowing the app to keep running, so it can stop because of phone calls, low power, restarts, updates to iOS or other things outside our control, and it may not start again until you open the app. You can turn tracking off in Settings.
Not medical advice
PostureUp is a habit tool. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition. It tracks head tilt from your headphones as a general guide to your posture. It doesn't measure your whole posture, and we don't promise that its readings, scores or alerts are accurate. If you have pain or a health concern, talk to a qualified professional.
Stay aware of your surroundings when wearing headphones.
Warranties
PostureUp is provided AS IS and AS AVAILABLE without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or accurate for any particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of PostureUp is limited to the amount you paid for the app, including subscriptions, in the 12 months before the claim, or $50 USD, whichever is greater.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive damages.
Trademarks
AirPods is a trademark of Apple Inc., registered in the U.S. and other countries and regions. Beats is a trademark of Beats Electronics, LLC. PostureUp is not affiliated with Apple or Beats.
Changes
We may update these terms when the app changes. Material changes will be reflected by a new "Last updated" date.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
